This was great. Almost looks like a hurricane is brewing. It's unbelievable how this area has developed (for the better). My last visit there was when Caesars Bay was still a one building flea market.

Best ASMR walk yet! Could feel the breeze as it went through the trees and bushes, and the waves and ocean spray. I mentioned before when you were in this area how it used to be completely undeveloped and covered with junk, garbage and weeds when I was a kid. What a difference 50 years makes, eh?

The Orthodox Jews have lots of children so I'm sure that toy store does quite well! I managed for Waldbaum's Supermarkets for 40 years and although I am an Irish Catholic, I thoroughly enjoy the Jewish people and their culture. Great customers!

At 34:04 you are walking by Weiss Bakery. I heard it is very good!! I need to get a street map of Brooklyn so I can track the walk. I'm not familiar with all the neighborhoods.

I lived in Borough park when it was Jewish and Italian. So we wore shorts for sure. Lol I lived on 42nd street. The food store was the Hamilton when I was a kid

It's really nice to walk through your old neighborhoods and remember all the good times. I don't know if it's still around, but there is/was a chicken market on W7th and 86th St. called Livoti's. I witnessed the head chopping and defeathering too. When I saw rabbits in cages too, I refused to go in there anymore! You must have been extremely hot by the time you got home. Hope you got to relax and chill.

When I was a little kid I lived on McDonald avenue between W and X. Where you ended the walk across the street from the LOPOPOLO iron works. The building that says DOORS. Brings back memories. I used to always eat pizza at knapp Street Pizza around the corner on avenue x

I always loved the thunderstorns in NYC. I saw some pretty powerful ones from 95 to 08. Watching them roll in was the best. I live in Tucson AZ now which has monsoon but the storms here are mild compared to the ones I saw in New York.

What a pleasant walk. I felt like I was there except for not being able to eat any of the food. That's one of the few festivals I never went to when I lived in NY. You brought up Verizon. I worked for them as a customer service rep when they were still NY Telephone back in the 80's. Not one of my favorite jobs. Thanks for the lovely day out!

Hope you had a great Fathers Day weekend. My grandma passed 8 years ago yesterday on Father’s Day. The day I will never forget her! The best thing happened was that I got a subway painting in memory of her, it was an R train picture. It was indeed a beautiful day yesterday to have the Seventh Heaven street fair

Glad I found your channel! You said you wear rain sneakers, have you thought about wellies (rubber boots) great for when the gutters are overflowing. Knee high is great for protection and avoiding trench foot. Just a suggestion. I wear mine a lot.
